Charleston Battery and Sacramento Republic look to be creating separation - but there are surprise teams in the East and West looking to Challenge. Loudoun United, if they should win, could find themselves sustaining a Top 4 position in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, if San Antonio don’t win, they may slip even further behind. Harry Austin gives us all his score predictions for the weekend and provides his notes on each match.

While there certainly are some surprise results from week seven, overall the conference tables are starting to separate into their respective sections: the Mesosphere, the highest level of our USLC atmosphere ; the Stratosphere is the middling teams who could go on a great run and get themselves into the Mesosphere but could also suffer injuries and losses causing them to drop to the Troposphere… nobody wants to be at the bottom. Harry Austin tells us how everyone is leveling out this week.

With both Sacramento and Charleston topping their respective Conference tables, the leaders look to extend their advantages with home matches against respectable opponents. Lou City, who are visiting the aforementioned Charleston Battery, will be on the prowl to draw even in the East and pull back a few goals to right the ship on their unlikely negative goal difference. San Diego, second in the West host an uncharacteristically poor Tampa Bay Rowdies. These, amongst a multitude of soccer scenarios are covered in this week’s USL Championship Weekend Preview.

The USL Championship wrapped up week six and we are starting to see some separation; both Charleston Battery and Sacramento Republic remain unbeaten and lead their respective conferences. Only one other team has gone undefeated so far, and that’s the anomaly holding up the bottom of the Western Conference, Las Vegas Lights, who have only played 4 and drawn 4. We take a look at all the scores and highlights from last week and review where the teams are after the dust settled.
