Who started Global Scarves and why? What is the company's origin story?
Global Scarves was founded in 2021 by Alan Foster and Bill Kristian. Both had worked together in the past on other projects but had identified a key need in the supporter scarf market in the US to serve groups, schools, and clubs with personalized one on one service. As supporters themselves they knew what was needed to grow in this industry by asking the question "how would we want to be served if we were searching for this exact product?". With Bill's experience in sales and marketing and Alan being an owner of a scarf knitting factory in England that has been knitting since the 1970s, the partnership to create Global Scarves was the only next step that made sense!

What makes your products stand out; why should Global Scarves be the go-to website to submit designs and order scarves?
Our products stand out as being extremely high quality compared to the industry, as everything is sourced in Europe, whereas we all know the beautiful game was born. With Global Scarves everyone within the company is a soccer supporter themselves. You're not working with a mechanized larger company that treats you as a number in the system, but rather with the same guys who'd be at the bars and in the stands side by side with you week in and week out. Having that passion means we care about not only getting the highest quality scarves out in the world, but that we do it with only the best intentions to treat you well on pricing, turnaround time, and more.

For folks who want a scarf for their team or company who may not have a designer on staff, what services do you offer to help them?
If you're unable to provide your own scarf design, fear not! We have multiple designers on staff that can create a multitude of options for you with an endless number of revisions until you get the perfect designed scarf. Did we mention that doing that is free of charge as well?

In addition to great scarves, what other products do you offer?
Outside of our scarves we offer a variety of other fan merchandise such as beanies, blankets, socks, lapel pins, beach towels, lanyards, flags, and more. We have the ability to produce a large number of products, and if you have any ideas on something else, even slippers or pillows reach out to us, chances are we can make it for you!

We work with thousands of teams who are all looking to grow and add funds to their operational budget - tell us about fundraising with you, how does it work?
To fundraise with us, we advise the first step being the design process to create the perfect scarf design. Once your design is mocked up and ready to sell, we can assist in creating order forms to distribute for folks to pre order their scarves before we begin production. That allows you to gain a better idea of how many scarves you'll need before we begin the sampling/production process. We won't produce anything until we are given the go ahead, because we don't want to leave you stuck with excess inventory!
