Birds of a Feather, Flock Together: Set Three
Soccer’s Bird Brands Look to Land Again
Two years ago we released our first set of bird-branded soccer patches - with Grays Harbor Gulls, MPLS City, Alta California SOL, and AC Chehalem Valley in the initial package. Four more fantastic feathered friends; PDX FC, Lansing Common FC, Temecula FC, and Oklahoma City FC crossed league bounds and “flocked together” to raise awareness of their namesakes. This year, we release our third set and the goal is to sell a minimum of 50 patch sets then donate the proceeds to the National Audubon Society, a non-profit organization which is dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats.
Our year three Birds of a Feather members are: Union Omaha (Owls) of USL League One, San Antonio Runners SC (Roadrunners) of UWS & UPSL, Cook Street United FC (Peacocks) of VISL in BC, Canada and Hapeville City FC (Canaries) who ply their trade in Atlanta’s local league.
While soccer is the primary goal of soccer teams, the very best clubs do more than just “develop players.” They operate within their community to improve the world around them, whether that’s volunteering at a homeless shelter, donating time to youth outreach or even sharing resources with non-sport related non-profit organizations; the clubs we most respect are busy all year round engaging in meaningful projects. For the above-mentioned teams, leveraging their beautiful branding to ensure the birds on their badges are taken care of in real life, falls into that extracurricular non-sporting category.
Protagonist Soccer has teamed up with Patchmarks to help create 2.5” woven patches for each team involved and the set will sell for $20 – for every set pre-ordered, we will throw SET TWO in for FREE until inventory is exhausted. PRE-ORDER SET 3 here to get both for the price of one.
