Week 2 of the First Flight League saw Bragg face a double-header between Levi United (tied for 2nd) and Greenville United (5th). Us over at On Board weren't surprised with the 5-0 scoreline for the former, but the 3-1 win by Greenville definitely had us talking. Elsewhere around the league the champs, Goldsboro Strike Eagles, did their thing and showed they're still an offensive powerhouse, but NC United were able to hang on and prove that that defense may have some holes in it.

NC United suffered a loss at the hands of the champs, but showed they have the offensive firepower to hang with the pack. We need to see some results on the board to have them move up anytime soon.

Le Riverry are set to kick off their fall campaign this weekend on the road against NC United. They had mixed results in pre-season, winning the inaugural Charlotte FC Military Cup, then losing on the road to Port City FC.

AC Raleigh had a bye this past week and look to re-organize and come back strong in their home opener against Bragg FC. A tough match that we have circled as the game of the week.

The most dramatic move of the week. Levi drop three slots after suffering a devastating 5-0 loss on the road to Bragg FC. This week they face the league's darkhorse at home, which Levi United shows up?

Gastonia had the week off and are looking to continue their inaugural season on the road against Levi United

Bragg showed us how good they are at home against Levi United, but took a step back against a rebuilding Greenville United. A rare stumble for the Bulldogs who went undefeated last season.

Knocking off the second highest rated team will do numbers for your power rankings. Despite holding tryouts a week before their home opener, Greenville was able to keep Bragg at bay long enough to secure those three points.
