NISA Fall Schedule Announced
NISA continues to dominate the news cycle this week with the announcement of the fall schedule for the league. According to the press release put out today the fall season will consist of a “Regionalized Competition, commencing in August, divided into two conferences; an Eastern Conference and a Western Conference, and II. a Single Location Tournament slated to be held September 21-October 2 at the conclusion of Regionalized Competition resulting in a single Fall champion.”
Every club will play each other once, either home and away, within their conferences, before the tournament to decide the league champion. Notably, two member clubs will be sitting out the fall season, Stumptown Athletic and 1904, due to “pandemic and the financial stress it puts on clubs.”
First match kicks off on August 8, with Michigan Stars hosting Chattanooga FC. For the full schedule check their site.
