San Diego Sockers vs Tacoma Stars in MASL, Regular Season
Fri, 12/20 - 6:35pm PT / 9:35pm ET
at Frontwave Arena
San Diego gets the chance to avenge its earlier loss to the Stars. After getting their road trip off to a bad start at Empire Strykers, Tacoma may be ripe for the picking as they head into this second game already worn. Both teams are looking to get the ball rolling on the new season with a result.
Josh Duder Picks…
Milwaukee Wave vs Dallas Sidekicks in MASL, Regular Season
Sat, 12/21 - 5:00pm PT / 8:00pm ET
at Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, TX
Two played, two wins for Milwaukee, who look to challenge at the top of the table so early in the season. Waves finished fourth in the East last year and were ultimately knocked out of the playoffs after a fair season in the middle of the standings. Meanwhile, Dallas missed out on playoffs last season and have already dropped their opener - but it's never too late to create your own good luck and in those fantastic green shirts, the Sidekicks look to officially get their season started with a home win.

Sporting NTX Caballeros vs North Texas Aztecs in Metroplex Premier League 2, League Final
Sat, 12/21 - 2:00pm CT / 3:00pm ET
at Gateway Park in Fort Worth, TX
The championship game of MPL2. The powerhouse of Sporting Ntx Club are represented here by their Caballeros squad and they put 9 past their opponents in semi finals, they are going to be super confident of winning this final after having a great season and impressive semis. They are up against North Texas Aztecs who also were super impressive in their semi final scoring 5 goals too, they are young and hungry and have had a great season, this is on at a great time.
If you love soccer and support soccer in the DFW, The Aztecs are representing the D of the FW and Sporting are representing the FW and north, so bragging rights of the metroplex is well and truly on offer here. Get out and support everyone.

Kalamazoo United vs Detroit City FC in MASL W, Regular Season
Sat, 12/21 - 7:30pm CT / 8:30pm ET
at Bellevue College in Bellevue, WA
If we know anything about Detroit City, they’ll bring it. These clubs have faced each other in other leagues, MASL is just another in a regional clash. I can’t wait to see these two clash in their season opener.
Josh Duder Picks…
Empire Strykers vs Texas Outlaws in MASL, Regular Season
Sat, 12/21- 5:05pm PT / 8:05pm ET
at Mesquite Arena in Mesquite, TX
A double-dose of Texas home games in the MASL this Saturday - Empire Strykers come into Mesquite with a bit of confidence after beating Tacoma 10-5 on Thursday and moving up to 7th in the table. The Outlaws are the only side yet to play and they have gone big for opening day at the Mesquite Arena - check out the league website to find the stream and don’t miss this one.

Warriors United FC vs Real Independiente in Metroplex Premier League, Playoffs
Sat, 12/21- 4:30pm CT / 5:30pm ET
at Gateway Park in Fort Worth, TX
Playoff Quarter Final game here in Fort Worth. The Warriors had a huge win in the previous round knocking 7 goals and looking very very impressive, they will be favs for this game based on that performance. But Independiente will be tougher to crack. They beat IFW 2-1 last time out and will fight and pressure Warriors till the end. Cracking game in store here Saturday, get to Gateway and support both teams.
Josh Duder Picks…
Colorado Bucks vs Omaha Kings FC in Major League Indoor Soccer, Regular Season
Sat, 12/21 - 6:00pm PT / 9:00pm ET
at The Foothills Field House in Denver, CO
Runners-up two years in a row, Omaha Kings will be looking to reign over the newly expanded league. Over the last year, Major League Indoor Soccer merged with the National Indoor Soccer League, and added a few challengers to the equation. Don’t think the Denver Bucks will just roll over and let Omaha tickle their tummies - I think we’re in for a heckuva game to kickoff the season for MLIS.
Ben Brannigan Picks…
Dallas Atletico vs Olimpia FC in Metroplex Premier League, Playoffs
Sun, 12/22 - 11:15am CT / 12:15pm ET
at Skinners Sports Complex Field 3 in Mansfield, TX
Play Off Quarter Final Time, Two teams that made this stage by different routes, Athletico via a pk victory over Columbia Academy and Olimpia by beating Threat FC in normal time. This will be a great game to blow your Sunday morning cobwebs off over in Mansfield, both teams love to attack. Great young players on show, and both teams can play a very nice style of ball too. So this will be very much worth getting out and supporting local soccer.
Josh Duder Picks…
Kalonji Pro Profile vs North Georgia United in UPSL, Playoffs
Sun, 12/22 - 3:00pm PT / 6:00pm ET
at Shiloh High School in Snellville, GA
The last time these two met, back in September, Kalonji totally blew North Georgia away, 6-0 and that wasn’t even their highest offensive output of the fall season. Anthony Sumo Jr leads the team with 21 goals while Karim Tmimi and Blake White have thrown in another 11 between them. This time around, North Georgia will be looking for revenge and Emanuel Lom, who had 14 goals of his own this season, will be desperate to get on the scoreboard. The winner of this Round of 32 match will move on to play Soda City FC in the Round of 16 in earl January.
