Fri, 11/24 - 7pm CT / 10pm ET
at Corner Sports Arena in Chihuahua, MexicoLast year the Savage finished 2nd in the West and the Stykers finished 6th - missing the playoffs entirely. Gremio Utah vs Utah Red Wolves - UPSL, Mountain West Playoff
Sat, 11/25 - 1:00p PT / 4:00p ET
at Spence Eccles Sports ComplexA Mountain West clash between number 1 and 2 in the regular season table - winner goes to the UPSL Fall/Winter Playoffs Bracket. Gremio Utah is led by Josue Almada with 7 goals and the Red Wolves’ Blake Oberholzer also has 7 goals. These two met back on October 18th in a tight contest with Gremio winning 2-1 at Spence Eccles Sports Complex. This may be a cagey, low-scoring affair but has a lot hanging in the balance.
Josh Duder Picks…
Dallas Atletico vs Dallas Deportivo Central - Metroplex Premier League
Sun, 11/26 - 4:00p PT / 7:00p ET
at Willis Winters ParkCurrently FC Ladera Boys currently sit atop the MPL table on 20 points but have played all their fixtures - Dallas Atletico on 19 points are second but have two games in hand and play against 3rd place Dallas Deportivo who are also on 19 points. There’s so much to play for that this game is a must watch! Ladera will be praying for a draw and could still win the league with a superior GD… but its gonna be a close one.
Josh Duder Picks…
Milwaukee Wave vs Kansas City Comets - Major Arena Soccer League
Sun, 11/26 - 3:05p PT / 6:05p ET
at Cable Dahmer Arena, Milwaukee, WIThe number one team in the east last year, the Milwaukee Wave, were knocked out of the playoffs in the semi final and may be coming into this season with a point to prove. But first they have to kick off their season with back-to-back away games and with only 48hrs in between. First off is StL Ambush, who finished second-bottom last year then after the quick turnaround, they fly to Kansas City to take on the Comets - this is a big opportunity for any three of those teams to get off to a good start, but especially for the Wave, who could be out in front by 6 points before the rest of the Eastern Conference even get started.
Josh Duder Picks…
SCU Heat vs Mint Hill FC - UPSL, Mid-Atlantic Playoff
Sun, 11/26 - 2:00p PT / 5:00p ET
at Southeastern Freight Lines Soccer CenteThe Mid-Atlantic playoffs pit table-toppers SCU Heat (26pts / +41GD) against Mint Hill FC (16pts / +11GD) - SCU Heat’s leading scorer, Ronaldo Fortune has 19 of his own. El Paso Surf vs Sun City Astros FC - UPSL Regular Season
Mon, 11/27 - 6:00p PT / 9:00p ET
at Blackie Field #1El Paso Surf have already wrapped up 2nd place in the West Texas / New Mexico Conference but would like to give their friends and family one more game to enjoy before taking on Southwest FC in the conference playoff game. Sun City Astros FC are winless this season and have only put the goal in the back of the net 4 times (they have a -25GD) - they’ll be playing for pride.
Josh Duder Picks…
NY Pancyprian Freedoms vs NY Athletic Club - Eastern Premier Soccer League
Tues, 11/28 - 5:00p PT / 8:00p ET
at Queens College in NYRecently knocked out of US Open Cup qualifying, NY Pancyprian Freedoms have to lick their wounds and now focus on the league. Currently, they sit in 2nd in the Metropolitan Conference and could go top if they get a result when they host NY Athletic Club. NYAC won’t go down easy though, they’ve had a rough go of the season so far, but a win away could see them jump a couple spots - also important for them is to claw back a goal or two against their poor GD, which is dangerous -9.
