Josh Duder Picks…
DC Power FC vs Fort Lauderdale United in USL Super League
Fri, 09/13 - 4:30pm PT / 7:30pm ET
at Audi Field in Washington, DC
Three games in and DC Power have only been able to score a single goal from their two losses and draw. Their big hope is that after three weeks on the road, they get to play in front of their home fans and maybe coach Frédéric Brillant can get Jorian Baucom on a roll. DC host Fort Lauderdale, who are bottom of the table early on, but have looked pretty good away to Spokane and Carolina - they have had the majority of possession and outshot both teams. Look for more positive play from coach Tyrone Mears in this one and for Ft Lauderdale to try to steal another point on the road.
Dennis Pope Picks…
Worldwide Problems FC vs Temecula FC in NISA Nation
Sat, 09/14 - 7:00pm PT / 10:00pm ET
at Westminster High School in Southern California
Worldwide Problems FC accepted promotion to NISA Nation’s new Coast Region after winning the SoCal Premier League Division I title last season. The club started life in the new league with a 3-2 victory over perennial power FCGS Force last weekend. Temecula FC, behind three goals from Alberto Renteria, grabbed a 5-0 result in Week 1 and currently sit atop the table on goal differential over Problems FC to start the Fall campaign.
Ben Brannigan Picks…
FC Bradfield vs FC Eaglenoire in Metroplex Premier League 2
Sat, 09/14 - 3:00pm CT / 5:00pm ET

MPL2 returns for Fall Season, with two new boys participating in week 1 standoff FC Bradfield hailing from Garland Texas will be interesting to see the squad they put together and same goes for FC Eaglenoire who are out of Dallas really building a community based team watching their social media they seem like a real fun bunch so I'm interested to see how both these groups fair in mpl2 this year possible dark horses to keep eye on . Get on out to mesquite Saturday evening weather will be great too.
Josh Duder Picks…
Tampa Bay Rowdies vs Pittsburgh Riverhounds in USL Championship
Sat, 09/14 - 4:30pm PT / 7:30pm ET
at Al Lang Stadium in St Petersburg, FL
Lou City and the Battery have run away with the East and there aren’t enough points left in the season for Tampa Bay to catch them… but there are enough points left for everyone else in the Eastern Conference playoff race to catch them. The Rowdies might be in trouble - they’ve lost four of their last 7, drew two, and their sole win in this run was against a wretched Miami FC. Pittsburg are one of the teams jockeying for a better playoff spot and every 3 points is a dogfight for them right now. The Riverhounds are on a 10 game unbeaten run and have an eye on a good ol’ fashion smash and grab this weekend.
Dan Vaughn Picks…
Tampa Bay Sun FC vs Brooklyn FC in USL Super League
Sat, 09/14 - 6:00pm CT / 8:00pm ET
at Riverfront Stadium in Tampa, FL
Tampa finally lived up to its offensive potential last week, scoring three against Lexington on the road. The question is if the club can continue that type of firepower at home and get a win in front of its hometown fans. Brooklyn is still looking for its first win and would love to swipe three points on the road.
John Howard-Fusco Picks…
Alloy SC vs WC Predators in EPSL, Delaware River Conference
Sat, 09/14 - 3:00pm PT / 6:00pm ET
at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA
Well, well, well…how interesting. Alloy SC made its debut last season and finished top of the table. Now we have West Chester making its highly anticipated debut, and guess who they get in their first game? A big-time matchup early in the campaign.
Josh Duder Picks…
Spokane Velocity vs SG Tormenta FC in USL League One
Sat, 09/14 - 6:00pm PT / 9:00pm ET
at One Spokane Stadium in Spokane, WA
Mathematically, nobody is eliminated from the playoffs yet but its getting awfully close to squeaky bum time in places 8th through 12th - with just 6 points separating the bottom of the table from the final playoff spot and 6 matchdays left, 2022 Champions Tormenta FC are holding onto that spot by the barest of threads. Spokane Velocity are on an impressive run, with 3 wins and 2 draws from their last 5 games. This will be their final game at home for a month and would like to make it three wins in a row at One Spokane Stadium before they go on the road to two of the best teams in the league.
Ben Brannigan Picks…
Denton Diablos FC Reserves vs North Texas Legends FC
in Metroplex Premier LeagueSun, 09/15 - 7:45pm CT / 9:45pm ET
at North Lakes Park in Denton, TX
MPL 1 returns for Fall Season , with a whopper of game 1 in week 1, The Denton Derby, between two great local Denton clubs, who will be looking to mount challenges this season and as well as that lay an early marker for supremacy in Denton. Get out and watch the biggest Derby in DFW this weekend at North Lakes Park bring a friend and see what the MPL and these groups of teams also do, you will not be disappointed.
John Howard-Fusco Picks…
Spokane Zephyr FC vs Carolina Ascent in EPSL, Delaware River Conference
Sun, 09/15 - 6:00pm PT / 9:00pm ET
at One Spokane Stadium in Spokane, WA
Having ascended to the top of the table, Carolina makes the trip across the country to face Zephyr FC. Spokane needs to break the cycle of coughing up first half leads. And Carolina needs to show they can put together two good games in a row.
