In the Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL), Oly Town Artesians kick off their season with an away match to face Oly-Pen Force. Oly Town finished bottom last year, but are excited to travel to Bremerton to take on the Force in the Olympic Sports Center for a 7:30 kickoff. “Dizzy” Daniel Antoniuk will be making his league debut as head coach for Oly-Pen after 9 seasons as a NPSL/USL outdoor player and 15 years as an indoor player in the MASL, including 3 with Washingtonian rivals, the Tacoma Stars program. Indoor soccer is fast-paced and chock full of goals and this matchup should not fail to entertain. If you find yourself way up north in Washington State, check out the Force’s website for ticket information here.

The end of the UPSL Fall 2019 regular season is just a few weeks away and in the Western Conference – SoCal North Division I, Santa Ana Winds FC are sitting in first place, on 25 points and an undefeated record. They look to extend that unbeaten record with a match on Sunday the 17th against 8th place Lionside FC – who have lost 3 of their last five matches and are out of any potential playoff picture. Winds FC are on a +25 goal differential, while Lionside have given up 25 goals all year. 8:00 pm (PST) kickoff at the Lake Forest Sports Complex /Turf-B.

Won’t lie, if the USMNT are playing, I’m watching. That’s my match to watch this weekend.
