Years ago we shared a similar article about the the club, but its high time we got a refresher course. When we reached out for some answers, Executive Director, Jarrod Barton, was happy to catch us up.

It’s been 8 years since we last caught up with Kansas City-based Santafé Wanderers… too long! The club was founded in 1995 by Hispanic/Latino immigrants in search of a better life from the northern regions of Mexico and as they enter their 31st year we reached out to refresh our memories and let our newer followers know about one of the oldest soccer clubs in Kansas City, Kansas.

Who Are Ya! kicks off 2026 by introducing you to Texas Lonestar SC out of the MASL W - since having replied, they’ve played a few games, but at the time of answering, they had only just won their first scrimmage on Nov. 22 vs. TULSA FC, and won their home opener on Dec. 13, vs. H.I.C. (Houston Indoor Club) - a veteran club in the league 4-2, in front of over 380 fans. Not a bad start for a brand new team kicking a ball off the wall.
